LOOK UK

Supporting visually impaired young people

LOOK UK is a small UK charity that supports visually impaired young people and families to thrive. Through mentoring, transformational events, youth forums and parent support, LOOK empowers blind young people and their families to fulfil their potential and speak up about their needs and rights.

The Foundation has played a key part in helping through it’s grants to establish the mentoring project for LOOK. The mentoring scheme matches 11-29 year olds with a visually impaired mentor, who can give advice and support on a range of topics related to their mentee’s visual impairment.
